Title: Drag Upgrade, Okuma Spinner with 113H Under-Gear CF Washer
Post by: sundaytrucka on January 02, 2016, 02:21:07 AM
I borrowed a little spinner, for trout fishing the Santa Ana river lakes, and noticed the drag was a little sticky. I accessed the drag and saw the felt washer was bone dry. I did not have any drag lube for felt washers, but found a 113H under gear washer I had from a rebuild.

I lost a little in surface area, but overall a sound upgrade. The diameter of the CF washer is right on to the felt. This is a small 25 size spinner, that I am using 4# test mono, so drag is light. CF washer was nicely greased with Cal's drag grease.
