These reels are marketed by several venders, are aluminum, w decent machining and parts, including 2 ball bearings on the spool. Its the basis for my winter project. In that I want to build another 5 1/2 inch spool mooching reel. I hope to show step by step as it happens.
Then will it catch fish? I can,t wait!!!!!
now a double picture????? I will redo the redo. photobucket? computer? or me?

Yes I think its a quality built reel for the money, I,ve see this brand on the bidders market store site for about $75 to 100. I didnt like the tiny handle grips. But thats an easy one for most folks to replace. This one pictured is 4 1/5 inch spool . Thats the mooching reel standard. Even the Islander is 4 1/2 and its at the high end of the market .
If you can get a used one thats great, they will last. Try one you might like it. gst.
