Hello and good day to all
They say you can't judge a book by it's cover....well here on AT the phrase is a little different.
You can't judge a reel by it's cover. wink wink ;) ;)

Beautiful little reel!
This reel says...
"It's ok to fish simply for 'sport'".
She's a real beauty but that's like lifting the hood and not letting us see what's hiding under the air-cleaner. Any mods in the drag or gears?
That is Sick! :P
Ted, I know you have molds to dish out some reels, I've seen them, I didn't know you had them for the 155 as well.
I was having a hard time looking at it, I had to put my sunglasses on... 8) very cool.
That's a beauty Ted. Bright and sparkly. If it were gold, you could give it to your wife.
John, I like the pun !! :D Hope you had a great holiday vaca with your dad.
Well Mike, it does have steel gears. Other internal upgrades are planned, but for now all my reel funds are going to Tom H, Alan C, and Bryan.
Sal, you know you can knock me in the dirt with your eye popping penns. :o :o We've seen a few, but you always hold back the best ones. This chrome plated bridge is(was) a stock penn item.
Bryan, I have to show my wife every reel I buy or build so I can beg her to let me keep it. Wish I had the "midas touch", an old gold penn has a nice ring to it. ;D :D
Beautiful...At first I was puzzled by the odd-looking bridge plate...Then realized it was a reflection.. :D
About 2 yrs ago a guy on this site had spent so much time polishing a 113h spool that he found the bottom layer was gold colored. He found this out by hand polishing the spool until the gold looking finish was exposed. I was so amazed by this story that I purchased to "gold" spool from him. I have never used the spool yet but every time I come across it (still in its box) I think of Ted---(MaxDoubt). Then also every time I see one of his posts, I am in awe again how he gets his reels to look BETTER than brand new. He is just amazing!!

Ted is the Man!
I have yet to meet any one person that takes so much pride in making a reel look better than new.
Hats off to you Ted. ;)
Would feel really, really bad exposing that one to boat rash, fish scales, sun, and saltwater...
Ted; I wouldn't put that baby on a rod..No sir! I would just put it in my office and admire it every day, and occasionally take it out and polish it. ;D
