Title: Penn Accurate Conversions...The good 'ol days
Post by: Maxed Out on January 22, 2016, 06:38:51 PM
There is not much info about when these parts were made.... from what I've heard they made gaffs first, then went to aftermarket penn components, then to full accurate reels. Does anyone know how long these parts were being produced ?

Ted,

Thanks for sharing your knowledge, and that beautiful collection of reels!

So there are a few of the early/first year or preproduction prototypes in that lot?  If so, have you noticed anything special or different about the prototypes, salesman samples, or first year production components?

BTW.. here is a link to Accurate's Web page that details the history of the company, almost ver batum, with what you shared above...

Interesting stuff!

  Thanks for the link John.

There are a few small differences, but nothing worth noting.
