Thanks to Daron (SharkHunter) for the generous offering, this Old 200 is back in fishing shape...as previously shown in Penn Reels.... Just as You Find Them http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=15800.60, this old war pony had a badly chipped spool, but surprisingly not blow up from the mono load it was carrying, now sports a chrome spool, and ready to go harass the local striper population.....Daron, standby for incoming snail mail...Thanks again brother........Bill

Very nice..!!
Wow - excellent work - love the Surf-master series of reels and I use a magged 200l myself for sea salmon aka Kahawai.
Nice rebuild.
Thanks guys....Matt how magnets did you end up using....I'd like to do that here.....
Hi TARFU - Id start with three 8mm X 1.75mm - Glue a thin tin plate to the bridge to the outer edge - when your thumb is educated enough you can just take the plate off and remove one - start with + - + and on my 160 Beachmaster I had three magnets was too much so took one out and it was much better but was still slowing down too quick so ended up flipping a magnet so it was ++ or --. You might need to get an alloy spool too as I haven't tried the mag system on the chrome-brass spool yet.
