Title: Changing the handle on a Andros 5n
Post by: KarimS on February 05, 2016, 12:25:28 PM
Hi there,

I have a single speed Andros 5n and just received a new handle.

I tried to remove the existing one but the main srew is super tight... i am not sure which way to turn so I am afraid of forcing too much and breaking something...

Has anyone done this before?

Thanks!

I tried taking the handle off my Metaloid last night, felt tight as a really tight thing, I'm fairly sure having done a bit of research that they are reverse thread (clockwise to loosen) but they are REALLY tight to start. Use a quality wrench, not some poxy adjustable thing, or you will round that thing off super fast. Mine is a 14mm, I suspect the Andros will be the same.
