Hi Everyone,
Was at a swap meet on Saturday and picked up an old 4/0 for $20.00 to tinker around with. This evening thought I would open it up and see what was inside. Well, I was very happy to see that it had a Newell spool and stainless 4/1 Newell gears that appear almost new.
The question...Anyone out there need this parts, and if so, what do you think they're worth? I'm in the process right now of rehabbing the reel, won't be long before it's smooth as silk. I really like working on these old Penn reels!
