Title: Anyone use these-CFS Monster Rods - Carbon/Graphite Surf Rods?

Looking for any feedback on these? They appear to look a little on the "light" side.

I've never used them, but would be wary about their claim of increased distance.

Unless one stands 12ft tall, a 23' rod will not outcast a 13' rod--even in the hands of an only average caster.

Yeah those are the ones.   They appear to be quite skinny so I don't really know if they can have the advertised 7oz. Also wondering if has any real back bone, or would it be like an oversized ugly stick?
