Wow, what a score! Especially the 99... (even with a backwards clutch lever.)   :D

with that clutch lever backwards I guess you dont have to worry about dings on the rings!

You can't see it but that clutchlever is using a handle nut as a fastener

I dont think anyone ever had the sideplates off.

This storm is killing me.
I can't get any pics to upload.
I think the coolest thing is the mottled spool on the Surfmaster.
Neither reel is a shelfie but I tend to fish my shelfies anyways.
I agree Aiala , I really wanted a 99 but just couldn't justify the price.
Now I have to justify the parts to make it really nice🌻

Check what you need to make them nice, Jonathan --

They look really good and original right now.

I might have what you need, and would even pay the shipping -- of course, we would need a jar of Miss Mari's world famous Elderberry Jam.

Any trees falling over on your side of the road?

Best,

Fred

Thanks Fred!
No trees down yet but the wind is making for a sleepless night.
Everytime the tree Sawyer has been scheduled it has snowed!
We have 24 dead trees ,some in the 4 ' diameter range.
Makes for a scary night.
