Your photo is the only other one I have seen. Nobody on our boat had ever seen one before.
It's called a sun halo I believe. Ice crystals in the upper atmosphere.

I think this is correct. I've seen it many times around the moon, especially on a very clear, winter evening, but this is the first time I've seen this with the sun.
