Title: Sundays are Hard Sometimes!
Post by: gstours on March 15, 2016, 04:59:44 AM
Like this last Sunday!  Thought I might get another King Salmon to bite,  Ya I made one bite but it took all day!
But the weather was good, and quite nice for March.

I was testing another hybrid mooching reel I modified pictured here.  Its nothing you would see in your average sportshop!

Its a Diawa M1 with a larger spool for more speed and power,  yet plastic and light weight.  Its on a Fenwick graphite xheavy rod that has some marbeling as shown.

Next is my prize for being pace-int.  It was Welcome!

Beautiful and a time well-spent.

I got skunked this Sunday, two hours in the pouring rain and nothing to show for it.

Having the opportunity to cast the Penn 210 I'm putting together--and being pleased with its performance--was a consolation.
