i am looking to change out the handle on my metaloid 5ii. the stock handle has a little play that bothers me. will a ball bearing know correct this and if so is there a particular brand/model you prefer. thanks in advance

There are no parts listed on the schematic other than #500 the Handle Assembly. Take a look under the cap on the end. The Handle may be pressed on and have to be drilled out to replace with an aftermarket knob.

Or, you may find a screw that can be tightened or a shaft that can be shimmed with washers etc.
