Title: DIY -- Knife Making Made Easier -- Simple Project
Post by: foakes on April 10, 2016, 03:13:45 PM
Mark Mayo and a few others on our site make some really beautiful knives.

If you wanted to try your hand at a basic knife -- Rockler has kits that you can purchase that start at $19 -- a video on You Tube -- and a free class you can take if you wish -- at one of their stores.

If you look at their online catalog -- there are many other knife design kits.

Fun project that may or may not lead to another interest.

Rockler is a very good company that I have used for years to source woodworking tools and hardware.

Best,

Fred

Back in the 40's my dad used to make his own knives by grinding down old wood files.
