Title: Roberto's Latest Senator Project
Post by: foakes on May 01, 2016, 01:55:18 PM
Roberto wasn't sure how to post pics -- but he sure did a great job on this old 6/0 Senator...

Fred,
I got the side plate on the reel . I am attaching photos, I think I know how to do them on email but asking to post them on AT is above my capabilities.
I am really happy I got this reel done. I honestly don't know now what to do with it because it came out too nice to go back on an electric kite reel.
I wrote Randy Pauly, who helped me with an Accurate frame for a 113H, that its bad enough that I have the fishing disease and I don't need to add the "reel virus". Anyway, its been a lot of fun!  One of the largest tackle shops here just announced that they would no longer repair reels or carry parts. I guess I better learn how to maintain  my own reels.
Thank you for all your help.
Best
Roberto

Reel virus, looks like you have all the symptoms already!
Nice build, fun isn't it?
