Caught a Tarpon on the flats in Boca Grande a week ago, not a giant but he fought hard on the spinning tackle he was hooked on about a 15 min fight. I have caught a bunch in years past but not for several years as I don't fish for them much anymore.

Very Cool, glad you had a great day. I have the equipment for them but never went after them. One day I will.

That's a nice looking fish ;)

Man can those fish fight... If you can get a solid hookset in their bony mouths.
I've had three encounters with'em, each memorable.
