Title: Last peek in the Specialized Salmon Slayer Reel.

A few more pictures of the inner parts shown below.  Then I,m going fishing.

The reel uses 3 ball bearings. 2inside the spool to ride on the main shaft.

a bearing is inside the drag hub/clicker/anti-reverse piece.

and another thing that was different and maybe well engineered was the combination of a stiff short coil spring plus 2 bellevilles that stack under the drag adjust knob.....
Lastly a shot of the anti reverse dog in place.  Its stainless steel so thats good.

That's pretty cool, it looks like a knuckle buster, but it's not. I'd buy 4 right now if I could find such a reel.

...and a slab so big it drags the floor. Nice going. Time to fire up the smoker !!

Yes the smoker was fired up a couple of days ago...... Ive got salmon belly oil dripping to one elbow!!~ ::) ;D
