Would it be feasible to hot rod a 112H? All stainless steel parts, drag stack and all? How much more drag would I get? I already have a Tiburon frame on it. Any info is appreciated.
All SS parts are not available as of now but I went as far as I could with 2 of mine.
Hey Keta,
I guess I can wait, I ll be doing the 100 for now. Any idea when the parts might be available?
Pappy, this is one of my favorite reels. The knowledgeable gentlemen here on the forum were a big help. Check out the link for some possible idea's. (112h narrow rebuild/upgrade)

Alto Mare or Black Pearl would know more than I would. I have the AR dogs, Alan Tani has the gearsleeves.
I've done them with everything available and they turn out very good. I would figure on using 20lbs of drag at the most even with all the goodies and Bryan's drag stack.
Above that I had problems with the pinion gear.
20# its a lot for normal inshore fishing..
I have one 112h still pending to build, but already have SS dogs from Lee and octagon adapter from Lee (keta goodies)
Without all of the upgrades, I would keep the 112H under 20#. The Jigmaster, loaded with everything we have available could handle 20#.
