Roger that! When I did the first post i had only gotten the chance to put one SD card of photos on the iPad late at night and the wifey kindly asked "would I be doing that much longer, it's late?"
So I went with what I had at the moment.
More on the way.
My rainbow is from the west side of Prince of Wales island Alaska looking north between Craig and Klawock.
The halibut is the maximum legal size on the low end of the reverse slot @ 43" @ 40 or so pounds. The next size is either over 80" or a GAF fish with that permit from IPHC..the Feds.
Beautiful reel on the first pic, looks like AM Andros but not sure
That looks beautiful! Thanks for sharing,
Good fishing to all, and an answer. :) The reel is an Quantum branded Aruba ALD20, a 1 pc framed 2 speeder that I got used and refurbished.
As for the size slot in the halibut fisherys you did good. Its a management tool to slow the catch with the charter industry and still allow a fishery. Better than a closure like so many places in oregon, n washington, plus others. Alaska is a big place but gets lots of people visiting in the summer when its more hospitable. Thanks for the picture, Send more to all us fellers! ???
Good going both of you.
