Title: Setting up a daiwa 900H for 50# line
Post by: Bob Keyes on March 14, 2011, 02:15:47 PM
I just got a new used 900H, this makes 2.  I will of course be doing a full teardown and lube, what I am trying to decide is do I need to change from a 3 disk stack to a 5 disk stack  for a 50# setup.  900H #1 already has the parts on the way for the full hot rod setup as I will be fishing with 80# line on that one.  Either way I go it will be with greased HT100 disks.  The rods will be 50 and 80 class blanks.

Yes Alan I think might as well do tha "AT" treatment to #2 as well so send the drag and the 6/0 handle, with the plans I have made for the rods I think the "twins" need to be as close to identical as possible,
