Title: 113H Bearing
Post by: MeanMachine on July 25, 2016, 02:44:03 AM
How much spool play is correct?  I have a 113h upgraded reel that has lots of spool play.  If I remove the right side bearing will it allow adjustment of any kind? I tried removing the bearing cover on the handle side and it will not come out. I haven't tried pulling the bearing but will try.  I saw in another posting that someone put a shim under the bearing on the handle side to correct this problem.  My clicker side bearing is almost tightened all the way.  Is it possible to remove the handle side bearing cover is my next question. This is a older 113h with a drag that can be serviced from the outside?  Thanks for all your help with this.

Installed a couple of stainless shims under the bearing. It works perfectly now.  Thanks for all your help!
