Here is another pic from this summers halibut grounds. Again using the hotrodded 4/0 Penns did a good job on these fish.
Circle hooks, herring from the red cooler, and 2 pounds of lead at slack tide finished off a feeding frenzy in about 165 ft of slackwater.

YUM, YUM! Those 60# fish are the best eating size. Nice Hauling, Gary!

I'm having smoked halibut fish tacos for lunch today!! ;D
