do you know if the knob of this handle can be taken out somehow?
seems like it needs a special wrench or something
the guy who sold it to me told me was from an old pro 50 reel

I believe you can take the knob off by loosening a screw that you can get at from one end of the knob. Will that help you?

I believe I saw a screw on one end of the knob .. I will put a lot of Corrosion X later and try ot take it out tomorrow, if I recall I tried before but it was really stuck, and before continue I wanted to ask you guys

Well, That does took the knob off but not the knob shaft..so it doesnt work like that, I still need to know how to take it out with the shaft too.
