Title: remove a glued drag brake pad

any advice on the best way to remove one of these? I started using a screwdriver and the spool got scraped up a bit  ;D

Scrape away.   Any scratches will help hold the new glue.  Dominick

The carbon fiber drag washer should last the life time of the reel or very close to it unless it was damaged in some way.
