Title: Penn Squall 16VS spool bearing removal
Post by: Stormboy on September 27, 2016, 10:47:58 AM
Hello all
After servicing all of my Internationals with the good help of the tutorials on here I thought I would tackle my only Penn squall. Everything is going smoothly so far except I cannot get either end spool bearing out. I have applied probably double the pulling force I used on the Internationals and neither will budge.
Should I go harder or tap out from the back through the spool, or am I missing something completely?

Appreciate any help provided. Thank you

Yes tap the bearing out from the inside. Use something that will hit the inner or outer race of the bearing.
