Title: Help with part
Post by: The Great Maudu on October 26, 2016, 04:25:37 AM
I've had this Penn Long Beach De Luxe for a while and decided to open it up to clean and lube. What I found was a broken eccentric spring. Is there a particular size spring to replace the broken one?  Also, the inside of the tail plate has an engine turned appearance. Was this common?

Mandu, try a 20-60L or the replacement 20-112H2 spring for a longbeach 60&65.           Rudy

I think the marks inside the end plate are from and end mill in the machining process.  Its interesting ?  I thought these end plates were cast!  thats my 2 cents.    gst.

I have a few side plates with those markings myself...sure does look milled. Maybe Mike knows the details.

More then likely it's just machining marks in the production of the mold.     Rudy
