Headed to the San Jaun,Thursday evening only fished about an hour . WE caught around 12 SM,LM on DS and grubs.
Went to upper bay Friday morning ( crappie cove) Had a good top water bite SM,LM and striper. After that was slow most of the rest of the day, until evening. Picked up one here and there on all the normal stuff we throw.
That evening had good top water bite. I threw POP'r and SEXY DOG, TOM like his wiggle wart and pop"r .
That is the way most on the trip went on the SJ.
Sunday headed down the lake to WEST CANYON. Sunday afternoon top water bite was on. You had know idea what was going to hit. Half of them were striper.
MONDAY morning fished LAST CHANCE BAY CAUGHT SOME STRIPERS ON TOP WATER., CLEANED FISH AND HEADED HOME.
90% of the fish we caught was on top water and drop shoting WE GOT AROUND 30 FISH MOST DAYS.
