balls for bearings, looking at the photo it's on the right side.

Very nice, the balls probably make some extra noise when you bounce the jig, I hear it really gets the attention of long cod.  I might have to give this a try myself.

Those are some big bearings. I ought to try that. I've been meaning too do that.  I wonder is using different sizes and types would make a difference.
