Post by: Childers on December 29, 2016, 11:45:56 PM
G'day Folks

Here's a couple of local pretty fish pic's to view

Caught from a kayak live baiting

The outfits are Ugly Stik Bluewater rods with a pair of Japanese made Tld15s loaded with 80 lb, Carbontex drags and one has a Tyrnos handle on it

Cheers Mick

Awesome catches. The Jew looks similar to a California White Sea Bass which is related to our Atlantic Drum family (Redfish etc.).

Yes good catch, nice photos, thems black king fish, mulluway, we get them in Western Australia, WA, above the 26th parrellel, on the old Canarvon jetty, there were some time, 90 caught in an evening, the silver mullaway are caught south of Sharks Bay. if that helps.even along the South coast, cheers donnyboat.

Nice catches.  If you put those jew photos on the wall of a tackle shop in the southeast US or Gulf Coast and you would create quite a stir.  They all look like world record speckled trout (spotted sea trout, spotted weakfish). hmmmm...
