Title: okuma mg-30cs drag slipping

Hi guys i have two MG-30cs and both are slipping on drag. i have got them up tight and can still pull them of by hand with no great strain . any ideas do i need new drag washers do they need grease or something else. many thanks mike.

The stock drag washers are intended to be used dry.  If they are wet with oil, you will probably loose drag tension.  You may want to upgrade to greased carbon fiber drags.  Measure the OD and ID and match them up with HT-100s (http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=21.0) or Carbontex (http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=1016.0).

any possibility that you have spectra that is slipping on the spool?
