Here's a few pics of my Penn collection. They're all users. No shelf queens save for a few that I don't use. There's spinners of different kinds, 700, 704's, 710's and a 712. Plus, a 450ssg. Then there are a few oldies, a couple Long Beach 65's, and a Delmar 285. There's a USA made 320GTI, and a 340GTI(USA made). Then there are the two 114H's, one that Keith put together for me with all the goodies, and the one my wife allowed for my birthday with the Penn aluminum frame. Right below them is my 113H build, the black one, the Darth Vader of the group. And then there are the newer lever drags, the Fathoms, a 30 and a 15.
It's a small collections. They are some of my most favorite reels. I love to fish with them. And, if you look, you'll notice many of them are on my favorite rods, the world famous Ugly Stiks. I love those too.

Brother you have a serious problem, and need the the 12 Step Program..... :o Nice quiver of rods and reels you have there....I would gladly take any of them off your hands if the wife thinks you have too many ::) If adopting me is easier I'm easy, I don't even have to move in, just let me play with some of those spinners ;D What is that tear drop shaped reel you have in the top of the third and fourth photo? Bill, currently watching the Sacramento River over take my former campground ::)
The tear drop shaped reel is an older USA made 340GTI. It's a solid old girl. I've had her for a long time. She's brought in a lot of red snapper for me and my kids.

Thanks everyone. Someday I'd like to get some of the larger Penns, maybe a 9/0, 12 or 14/0. For my fishing the reels pictured pretty much cover everything I need and use. Some of my fishing buddies think I'm a bit old fashioned using the Penn's. I fish with one friend who uses Okuma's exclusively. And, I have a friend who's into Avet's. And, another who loves his Shimano's. Out of the group I run with I'm pretty much the only one who uses a lot of Penn's. That's OK though. I love using Penn's. Here lately I've tinkered with them quite a bit. In years past, prior to me finding this site actually, I would always take them to a local guy for service. I never serviced or tinkered with the reels much. I'd wash them off after each trip, put a few drops of oil in them or on them, put them on the rack until the next trip. Since finding this site, I've started servicing the Penns. And, even built one, the Darth Vader looking black one. Now day's, I find a lot of enjoyment out of tinkering with my reels and gear, just as much as actually fishing with them.
