Post by: Putte on February 16, 2017, 06:43:12 PM
Hi Guys !

I am working as a mechanic right now, working with CNC mills and lathes, one of my service guys gave me a grease they normally use in lathe chucks. It´s White / beige and it´s called " Gleitmo 805", but that´s a Swedish name, i found this in English:

http://www.fuchs.com/us/en/special/product/product/gleitmo-805-1/

What do you guys Think about it, is that something to use in my reels... Saltwater fishing !

Best Regards:

there are probably better products, but it's more important that you use something, anything, rather than nothing at all.

I would try and find a dedicated marine grease - Yamaha, Evinrude, Mercury, Penn's own blue grease - to name a few.
