Title: Penn 14/0 Bridge - Is this Stainless Steel or not?
Post by: wsenti on March 13, 2017, 02:17:25 AM
I purchased on eBay back in December. I took another look at it and reviewed it, it's significantly heavier than anything stock or brass, I really don't believe it's chrome coated over brass. What are your thoughts? I took pics under good light.

Seems these could be pretty simple to machine as well. I actually noticed one hole is just a slight small for insert, but that can easily be drilled out just a little and fit nicely.

Pretty sure those bridges are chromed brass.

Yep,

The brass is visible in the threaded screw holes.

Best,

Fred

Are you sure it's not solid gold?  Wsenti said it was heavy.   ::) Dominick
