Looked at the compatible Penn slammer lll to the shimano Twin power 14000 does anyone have any experience with the new penn slammer lll or opinions on the 2?

I have both reels. The Shimano is more refined as usual but as we know getting parts in 4 years will be a problem.

The Slammer III 6500 is just as smooth but a little more sluggish. Not by much at all.

Comparing cost I would get another Slammer III.
