Title: Shimano Tekota 300LC anti reverse roller bearing stuck!
Post by: Justinskywest on March 21, 2017, 05:32:08 AM
I'm doing a customer reel and I need to replace the rusted ARRB but I can't get it to budge from the sideplate. Any recommendations for getting that bad boy out of there? maybe a bearing puller or something of that nature. Ive got the bearings removed but there's no reveal on the sideplate to do the 10mm socket trick to pop it out. HELP!!!

I believe those I place a larger socket on the inside of the empty sideplate and then a 10 mm socket on the outside of the side plate the put it in a vice and crank slowly pushing out the bearing into the socket on the inside side plate.

So I ended up taking a dremel and cutting it out. The 10mm socket only works to tap this one in, not out. I'm all but finished getting it buttoned up now. Thanks guys
