Title: they were cousins, now they are twins..
Post by: steelfish on March 29, 2017, 12:06:37 AM
well guys, same deal than my other rewraps jobs, these rods came from a fellow that runs a sportfishing charter, rods were all beat up, he even gave me the rods witht the guides already taken out and gave the some usable guides from another broken rods, so guides might not be the same model but thats the reason.

Thanks compadre, believe it or not the epoxy Im using is a 50/50 mix of D2/LS supreme,  D2 adds the user friendly workability and LS supreme adds longer pot life and more flexible.

LS supreme is a nice thread epoxy but its super thin, you need a minimum of 3 Coats or 4 to get a nice deep finish on the thread
