I have an opportunity to buy an older Daiwa 40 lever drag saltwater reel. It is gold and similar to the looks of a Penn international. I searched the interwebz and here and wasn't able to find anything about them. Do any of you guys have an experience with them? Thanks for any insight.

you know, i'd pass on that one. i've had nothing but bad luck with them. :-\
