The plan A was to look for some Yellow eye Snapper as some were caught prior to the last moon. We hit two spots without success. Plan B was to head out deeper to try for some Golden Tilefish. On the way out, we saw a flock of Sooty Terns working, so we quickly rigged up two trolling rods and made some passes. We didn't really have trolling bait, so we relied on artificials. We hooked up but the Dolphin would not follow their hooked compadres to the boat as they were more interested in chasing the baitfish they were working, so we had to run back to the birds each time. Ended up with 6 Dolphin and a fat Skippy under the birds. Only 5 pictured as we gave one away prior. Nothing big but good eating size. Never got to plan B as Plan C was the ticket this week.

Thanks everyone, while it wasn't considered a great fishing day it is always nice to have a secondary plan when the first one doesn't work out.
