I have a couple long beach 60s.couple with flat side plates couple with curved.is there a difference with the chrome rings ,flat/curved? or did I juts buy the wrong rings> ? ha ha thanks!

No, both plates are square at the point where the trim rings go on, so the same rings are fine.

thanks! I got the wrong rind! the new shinny one is to shallow. when its all the way on there is a gap .

I guess it is the correct one. even MysticParts says their will be a gap on the older reels! I didn't know! thanks again!

I had a couple 60's that looked like someone hit em with a hammer! after cleaning what was use full. the side plates were that spotted type. so out of the two I ended up with one with spotted side plates . the flat ones ! I wanna fix her up ! thanks!
