Title: Best option for Tica Cetus
Post by: Goondoo on May 24, 2011, 03:31:35 PM
Hi Dawn,
I measured the drag in my Tica Cetus SB500 and got this measurements.
Drag washer: 12.45 x 6.35 x 1mm
Metal washer: 12.35 x 6 x 0.8mm

What is the chance I can get a carbontex for my favorite reel?

Many thanks,
Billy

Hey Billy,

Match up drags to something that is listed http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=1016.0.  Dawn goes on vacation next week, so you'd better get your order in right away.  If not, you will have to wait until she returns.

Hi Billy
That is a tiny little washer.  The smallest I have is 16mm.
I think you'd have to go with one that is:  16.95 OD,  5.95 ID  1mm thick  and sand or dremel down the outside diameter.
That is washer #3 on the page Bryan mentioned.

I was hoping you have some new washers that may fit nicely.  ;D
Many thanks to Dawn and Bryan for the fast reply, I will contact my local agent for it :)
