Title: Penn Torque 300
Post by: Squirmypug on May 27, 2011, 11:13:28 AM
I was testing out the drag on my Torque and noticed when I have the drag set high the handle turns backward a little, untill the 2 dogs catch. Is there anything I can do to keep the arb from slipping like this? Will it cause any damage if it continues to slip at high drag?I know the double dogs will hold but would like the arb to work like it should. The only idea I have had to fix it is maybe cleaning the grease out of the arb and using a light oil.Any ideas would be great. Thanks  8)

Had a similar problem with a Trinidad. Thoroughly cleaned the arb and applied light oil instead of grease. Problem solved.
