Is there an aftermarket spool to increase line capacity for the 4000 model?

Thanks.  I have been looking around but can't seem to find an answer either way.  I figured this would be the best place to ask!

I'll have to check on that one. Many Shimano reels you can use a different spool. The Stradic 6000 can use an 8000 spool, ect.

Try asking at Stripers online forum.

I would call Romano parts department and see if any of the larger spools for other models would work on this reel.  Might be a long shot, but may be worth a shot?

I called and they stated they are different shaft diameters.  That's kinda when I started looking for after market.
