Indeed, one tough lookin reel. Would prefer spring actuated dogs to the "abu" silent style so I can hear 'em and not worry about adjusting/misadjusting them when I break the reel down. Any opinions on the material quality of these newer Daiwas?

This one looks and feels great, machining and anodizing looks good, everything appears to fit well...certainly different to the Saltiga LD - single speed one size down would be great for here in NZ..something that holds 300m of pe10 would be perfect.  :)
