I recently came across a Jigmaster 500. I was driving through a subdivision and on the top of a trashcan was a box of reels. I stopped and picked them up and inside the box was a black Jigmaster 500. I believe it's one of the made in China reels. It doesn't say "Made in USA" on the sideplayes any where. The reel looks brand new. Since it was free I thought about hotrodding it a little bit. I know I could buy a better reel but I just like doing stuff like this. Most everything I own is modified in some way. I was going to get a Tiburon frame for it but the company says there frames won't fit Chinese made Jigmasters. Does anyone know why and what is different? Thanks for the help
Tiburon frames fit the Chinese Jigmasters just fine. They do not fit the Chinese Senators. I have new and used Tiburon Jigmaster frames for sale if you are ready for one.
