Title: Penn II clamp studs
Post by: gary999 on October 18, 2017, 12:43:58 AM
Has anyone just made studs from 1/4" screws? Maybe cut off, smooth, and run it through a die? Lock-tite the nut? Just curious. I need to replace 10 or so from me tightening too much.  :( Lesson learned.

If it fits the reel body and clamp nuts your good to go.

Yes. Ground off and flattened one side of round head SS screws. Work just fine. Use them on 33-200 & 33-43 clamps. I think they are number 10.
