We would be happy to take care of your reel here at The Tackle Trap. We are an authorized Daiwa Service Center, and carry many upgrades for Daiwa reels, from bearings to spool options, etc. You can reach us via phone at 1-256-281-6160 or by email at tackletrapreelrepair@gmail.com

The Tackle Trap

Copied this from another site. The guy is a genius with low profile reels.

Baitcasters - that's just my game.

I typically spend up to 3 hours restoring your reel to perfection including flushing and re-lubing all bearings.

Your reel comes back as good as new.

Look me up if you ever find yourself in Broome, Western Australia :)

Regards, Brett

Where are you located?  I know this may sound like a dumb question, but we have members around the globe.  Knowing your location will help.

Hey Brett,

If the OP was here in Zimbabwe, I would have recommended me !!

Have a daughter in Perth, so not too far away from Broome.

Good luck with the job.

Best regards,

Terry.

Hi Terry.

Perth is only 2,239 kilometers away so definitely closer lol.

Zimbabwe is 9, 669 kilometers from Broome. Oddly, we both appear to occupy the same latitude.

Broome is 17 degrees, 58 minutes south from memory.

I wonder who is closer to the OP?

Have you thought about sending it to Daiwa?

Hey Brett.

If the OP is on west coast of US he is around 8500 miles from you, and over 10,000 miles from me.

If he is on the Eastern seaboard, I'm nearly 8000 miles away, and you are over 10,000 miles.

Let's share !!

Good on you mate  ;)

Best.

Terry.
