Title: Tanacom 750 sticky drag
Post by: Snaphappy on December 06, 2017, 02:23:40 PM
Anyone replaced the drag washers on one of these? If so where did you find them? Smoothdrag?
Was it much more difficult than working on a regular star drag? I have a two year old 750 that has an extremely sticky drag. Figured some carbontex and grease would solve the issues. Thanks for your help!

All of mine have Carbontex with the grease wiped off like you would with a lever drag reel. You do lose a litts drag but its smooth. I will check my notes on the size.

The Tanacom 1000 size is 10x22x0.76mm. That's 0.76 mm thickness. I don't remember if the 750 is smaller or less washers.
