Phuket, Thailand, 80-85 degrees F. in Feb. And 2 pics., Kauai, HI, also in the winter.
Yesterday, I's 4 fer 4 on my favorite critters while kayaking/fishing: Green Sea Turtles, a Monk Seal, some kinda big graceful sea bird(I still gotta learn the species of...) that can indicate baitfish presence, and Spinner Dolphins swimmin with me as I was trollin. 2 reef fish: an Omilu(Bluefin Trevally) which I'm eatin as I type, ana roi(peacock grouper) which tastes great, but can be ciguatoxic and probably shouldn't be eaten.
Gfish
livin' the life! ;D
These are pics of last winters trip. The winds were very strong for fishing in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, so 4 of us headed south to Herradura /Jaco to Los Suenose. 1 day offshore and 1 day inshore. What a blast it was. Here is the famous croc bridge over the Rio Tacoles. The day before our arrival. This is the offshore the charter we chose. Here's pic from above with no sunset on the rock ,we are in Carillo 2016.
We are going to back again this Jan or Feb . We fish pangas as much as possible, until the winds force us south.
A random pic of the marina. We are waiting for our Capt. We were early and ready to go.
Fransisco checking out there gear and tackle. And we're off the to action.
The was BillFish tournament 2 days prior to our arrival. Maybe why so many were docked.
Hit a little light rain ,but not a problem still 50 miles to go.
70 mile out in a little over an hour. We are on the mark.
