Title: Bantam 100
Post by: George P. on December 11, 2017, 06:27:11 PM
Hey guys it's been a while. Just wanted to ask a few questions. I recently bought a Bantam 100 and wanted to know if carbontex made drag washers for this reel thanks.

I've bought carbontex washers listed as fitting the various Bantam models I have and had to trim all of them slightly, inside and outside diameters, to make them fit. Not a perfect looking trim job on my part, but no complaints as it improved the drags 100 percent.

Contact Dawn at Smooth drag.  She has this reel on her list for carbontex  washers.

They should be 23 mm O.D. x 9 mm I.D.  Two of them.

You can shave the inside diameter with a rat tail file.  Shave the outside edge with a flat file.

I bought some from Dawn several months back and they fit just fine in my Bantam 50s.
