Title: 130 clamp measurement
Post by: thorhammer on December 12, 2017, 02:32:15 AM
Need center-to-center measurement of 130 Int clamp studs, or positive ID that a 130 clamp fits a 16/0.

thanks,

John

Hi John,
Don't know if you've found out elsewhere yet but I've just seen this request.
I don't have a 16/0 (or a 14/0) but I do have a couple of 130ST and a couple of 12/0 Senator.

The centre-to-centre distance for the 130ST is 6cm or 2 ⅜ inches. It is the same distance for the 12/0.
The saddle clamps for each fit the other perfectly.

You can determine whether a 16/0 is the same by checking the reel saddle part number; for the 12/0 it is 55-116. I have a parts catalogue around somewhere...

Cheers,
Chris

Thanks Chris! i was hoping to go with a Strike master clamp for a 130, but it is too short for 118 by a quarter inch. I have to either go stock or make one.

Bill, its single digits here. it will cost more in propane to heat the shop than the clamp is worth lol! I'll get to it though, just got to warm up enough to get to the drill press. I'm not filing that much aluminum. Mike and Chris can have my files down there where it's summer.
