Well here's one I've never seen or even heard about. Looks like they're not going to give it away either.
Its a curiosity thing, ... anyone know anything about it?

Yep, and replacement parts were discontinued about 15 minutes after this one came off the line...
And they will be needed...
Best,
Fred
Maybe a one of a kind rebrand? Probably put a reserve on it to make it look as though its valuable. Oh well, ... At least it gives us something different to talk about!

I was thinking that it looked like a fin-nor
The knob and crank arm, shift stuff looks like Omoto clone to me. Might be fishable for under 79$ ??? :-\
the price sounds like a joke....
the cheapest price i found are 229.87 EUR in Germany (ca. 270 USD)
www.tackle-deals.eu/DAM-Quick-Royal-LD-50-RH
DAM offers a LD50 LH/RH and a LD60 LH/RH
Argue is made by Omoto or other OEM manufacturer
I'm sure it's an Atlas/Omoto. Not a bad reel. Just a bad price.
I had an Atlas Kona with the roller clutch. I emailed them in Taiwan and they sent 2x the parts to add the Avet style dog plus extra spring washers.

What reel haven't you owned Keith?
You have probably been inside more reel models then I even knew existed.
Well, I just noticed Amazon has them on their website for $444.00. Boy, that's a chunk of change! Is there anything that Amazon doesn't carry?

I've had a bunch but not every one. I dont think anyone ever will..!!
Some of my guy's around here are still using them. Pompano Joe is still using one. I do buy reels just to go through them, use a little, and sell them on.
One I am definitely keeping is the Overhead Jigging Reel. It bad to the bone. An upside down Accurate clone you use like a spinning reel. I though I had a picture. Its the PE7 UNDERHEAD from Jigging Master.
Very cool Keith, first time I've seen one! What's it like to use it?
